I came across Auto Torque whilst on a search for a new car after my existing one decided it didn't want to be a car anymore. I was on the lookout for an S660 and was originally in talks with another seller up north, but decided I would go and have a look at a car closer to me before making the journey.

Even on the initial call with Bradley to make an appointment to see the car, he was completely honest and admitted that there are some characteristics of the car that not everyone would like.

When researching the car, I discovered that there had been a recent recall on the vehicle that may not have been picked up when it was imported over as it was announced very soon after it was bought at auction and exported from Japan. On the first viewing, I enquired about it and found out through Honda Japan that the vehicle did still have the active recall on the suspension.

Bradley was immediately very apologetic and had offered to have the suspension replaced as he wasn't aware of the recall as it wasn't noted on the auction sheet. After some unsuccessful attempts at getting Honda UK to help, he offered to replace the suspension with BC racing coilovers. I was surprised by this offer as it would be at a higher cost to himself to facilitate, but accepted gratefully.

Not only that, he even took the car to a performance car specialist to have the suspension fitted and for the geometry to be done on the car on his own dime.

Because we had to rectify the suspension issue, the car purchase journey did take a bit longer than I expected, but Bradley kept me well informed throughout the process and went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect for when I collected the car.

I'm very grateful for all the help I have received throughout this process, and can highly recommend Auto Torque for anyone looking for a Japanese import car, not to mention the incredibly interesting stock of cars at Auto Torque!

I bought my Honda Stepwagon from Brad back in February and couldn't be more happy with it.
I wanted to leave it a few months so I could leave an honest review after owning it for a while and I don't have a negative thing to say! (Not all Karen's are bad 😆)
So if you are considering buying an import or any vehicle I would highly recommend Auto Torque, nothing is too much trouble for them and an excellent service all round, would definately use them again and recommend to anyone too.

I bought a Nisssn Elgrand a few weeks ago from Auto Torque. The whole experience was made so easy by the easy going nature and knowledge from them. I was an awkward customer that had a very small window in which to view and test drive the car which Auto Torque were able to accommodate.
All of the cars I saw on offer were both top of the model range and were all also in showroom condition.
I would happy recommend Auto Torque to anyone and would also happily buy from them again in the future.

No questions were too big or too small.
